Where Can I Find Data on Workers Compensation?

Here are some sources for benchmarks and other statistics on workers compensation:

• Workers Compensation Research Institute has its WCRI Detailed Benchmark/Evaluation Database providing data on benefits and costs, expenses, timeliness, duration, and medical utilization. The organization also publishes a number of related reports.
• National Academy of Social Insurance publishes an annual report, Workers’ Compensation: Benefits, Coverage, and Costs.
• National Council on Compensation Insurance publishes an annual report as well – Analysis of  Frequency and Severity of Claims Across the Country. While these NCCI reports have restricted access, some data from the report gets coverage in other NCCI publications such as its 2015 Workers Compensation Financial Results Update and its 2015 Workers Compensation Issues Report.
