CORPORATE CULTURE: Value of the giver culture

You want to hire givers rather than takers.  You really do.  They’ve studied it.  Harvard researchers have found that the single most important factor driving the effectiveness of a group is the degree to which people are willing to help each other out — and not in a “you scratch my back and I’ll scratch yours” sort of way.  This lengthy article, excerpted from the book, Give and Take: A Revolutionary Approach to Success, advises on specific techniques on how to foster a giver culture.  Advice on how to identify job candidates with taker personalities is also given.
