Modern Healthcare magazine has published its list of the 25 largest ambulatory surgery centers, ranked by total procedures performed in 2011 and based on the magazine’s 2012 Ambultory Surgery Centers Survey. However, the ranking is based only on ASCs that participated in Modern Healthcare’s survey.
AtlantiCare Surgery Center in New Jersey and Northwest Michigan Surgery Center top the list.
The listing includes the ASC name, location, whether it is physician-owned or a joint venture, annual volume of procedures, total full-time equivalent staff, and website. AtlantiCare Surgery Center in New Jersey and Northwest Michigan Surgery Center top the list.
