Hospital vs. medical center: what’s in a name?

Results of a survey conducted by two consulting firms in New Jersey show that the consumers questioned had strong preferences for “hospital” over “medical center.” The survey measured the responses of around 1,000 adults to questions related to range of services, high-quality care, technology, and having expert physicians.
